Late this afternoon I received a six page, handwritten statement by my daughter, Sheena, detailing what she says she has endured since being taken into custody by the Buka Police Force. This was written in August. There is also a one page typed summary written in late June. See below.
The account she gives is horrific and has me absolutely resolved to seek JUSTICE FOR SHEENA, my daughter.
I’ll leave you to read the 6th and last page of the handwritten statement. This is a summarising paragraph, lacking in the detail, including names, she gives in the previous 5 pages. I also attach her typed summary written some months ago.
This Thursday, 21 September, is Sheena’s 45 Birthday. Please, all you good people of Buka, you know that Sheena was a good cop. Please pay the Buka Police Station a visit and insist on being allowed to see Sheena.
I am also calling on the Police Commander of Buka to personally look into this, have Sheena released on bail having first been medically examined by a female doctor or nursing sister if no female doctor is available in Buka.
Never having to hire a lawyer in my life, I am in the process of doing so now. I am also looking into the possibility of starting a GO FUND ME campaign to help cover travel and legal costs.
